In this one-day workshop, we’ll spend the whole day exploring continuous line drawing, a core part of my style that’s simpler than it looks. Through a mix of short exercises, focused studies, and full scenes, you’ll discover how a single line can transform your sketches and bring them to life.
So many people have come to my workshops, and wanted to know more about continuous lines. So finally, I thought it would be fun to have the opportunity to spend a whole workshop exploring these exciting ideas.
Through the day our aims will be to...
Build confidence and looseness in your sketching
Strengthen hand-eye coordination and observation
Discover how to simplify complex scenes
Use continuous line to add life and style to urban sketches
Leave with a series of expressive, character-filled drawings
We will be based in ArtSpace, Cambridge (5 Green's Rd, Cambridge CB4 3EF), which is fully accessible, close to the centre of Cambridge and easy to get to on foot or using the park and ride buses.
